Seeking Help on Gratuity, Leave Encashment, and Benefits After Resigning from BSNL

kpsingh007
I have worked in BSNL for 10 years and 7.5 months. My Basic salary is 21,340, DA is 13,124, and HRA is 4,268. I have resigned from my job. By this post, I kindly request your guidance on the following:

Gratuity Calculation

1) I have calculated the Gratuity as Rs. 218,714. Is that correct?

Encashment of Earned Leave

2) I have 201 E/Ls. How many of them will be encashed and by which formula?

Group Insurance Deduction

3) I am deducting Rs. 105 as group insurance. How much will I get back?

Other Benefits

4) Are there any other benefits that I am eligible to receive?

Please help me resolve my queries.

Gratuity = Last monthly wages x 15 x years of completed service.

Note:

(i) Wages = Basic Wages + DA
(ii) Maximum gratuity payable = ₹10,00,000/-

For example, 34,464 x 15 x 11 divided by 26 = ₹218,714

So regarding gratuity, your calculation is correct. Regarding the other benefits, I will be able to reply if you could send me the Government Order regarding the voluntary retirement scheme.

Thank you for replying. I am not able to find any government orders regarding VRS. Could you kindly inform me how many ELs will be encashed after my resignation out of 201?
