I am an HR manager in an IT company. Recently, we organized a recruitment drive and selected candidates from there. One of those candidates has left our company without informing anyone, and when we tried to contact her, she did not answer our calls. We have sent her official emails to compensate the company for premature termination, but we also want to send an email to her college so that such incidents will not be repeated in the future. You could draft a formal email highlighting the unprofessional (unacceptable) behavior of the student as well as your efforts to reach out to her. Have you tried reaching the candidate on the landline number? Did you try to find out if some untoward incident has happened?

Hi Shalini, thanks for your reply. Yes, we have tried to contact her on all numbers provided by her, but later on, we came to know that she joined an institute for further higher studies.
