"Attitude" is difficult to identify and measure, so do not classify behavior as attitude. Abraham Lincoln put his foot down against slavery; would the same behavior be okay in your company... maybe not.

The only solution is training or counseling sessions. A salesman in a showroom may be from the fringes of society; what is acceptable in different cultures may not be good enough in another scenario. If he is not able to connect with an upmarket client, he needs cultural training or behavioral training to bridge the gaps.

This same phenomenon is depicted in juvenile delinquency too, so proceed with an open mind and sensitivity (absolutely no biases).
