Your strength of employees and usage of power (electricity) will decide if you are a "Factory" under the Factories Act or you are a "Commercial Establishment" under the applicable Shops & Commercial Establishments Act.
Once this issue is sorted out, you will know what documents are required to be maintained under the applicable act, what records to keep and what returns are to be made periodically. But this is fundamental response to your query!
The next stage would be to decide what what labour legislations, like ESI, OF, Gratuity, Bonus, PT, MLWF (if you are based in Maharashtra) will be applicable to your set up. It is only after one has all the information that one would be able to offer reasonable advice as to what legal compliances are necessary for your set up!
