Understanding PF and ESI: How to Calculate Percentages and Salary Limits?

Hi, please guide me on this. I need the percentage to be calculated for PF (Employers & Employees). For ESI calculation, what is the maximum salary to deduct ESI?

Rate of Contribution for PF

Employees: 12% PF Fund
Employer: 13.61%
- 3.67% PF Fund
- 8.33% Pension Fund
- 1.10% PF Admin Charges
- 0.50% EDLI
- 0.01% EDLI Admin charge

Any employee earning Rs. 15,000 or less per month as gross salary is eligible for ESI.

Rate of Contribution

Employees: 1.75% of gross salary
Employer: 4.75% of gross salary

Hi,

Can you please let me know if an employee is working in a factory, and his gross salary is 15,000/-, but he is doing overtime (OT) and with OT he is getting 30,000/-. So, do we deduct ESI on his gross salary or on gross + OT salary?
