Dear All,

With deep sorrow and guilt, I am telling you that today, one HR personnel failed me in an interview. At one point, it is the calculations of bonus, gratuity over time, and earned leave. Secondly, he asked me to tell about the returns and registers under various acts as applicable to a manufacturing company. Although I replied correctly, I am not sure. My confidence level was very high because I know it all, but the main point is why I failed.

So, please guide me as I want to confirm the knowledge level with you for self-testing. I promise I will reply to every reply. Hope you will guide me.

- Whether contribution remitted through challans in SBI by 21st every month
- Employees who are drawing less than Rs. 15,000/- PM are to be covered under the ESI act by obtaining the particulars of employees in form: 1 and Submitted the same to ESIC With Photo Copy for Obtaining ESI card
- Whether Copies of Form 12A, 5 & 10 before 21st of every month

Overtime Register

- OT working Yes/No, rates of payment
- OT paid shown in the OT Register & ESI Contribution

Bonus Compliance

- Whether Bonus is paid to all employees who have completed at least 30 Days of Service With the Contractor
- Whether bonus Registers Form: A & B are maintained

Other

- Labour Welfare Fund Certificate
- PT Registration Certificate
