Applying for the post of Lecturer in HRM- process and starting salary

jaspreet16kaur
Please advise on how I can proceed to apply for the position of a lecturer without UGC Net. I have completed an MBA. My interest lies in teaching Human Resource Management (HRM) related subjects.

Additionally, I am curious about the starting salary I could anticipate.

I wish you good luck for your career plan. Teaching is the noblest of all—unless you are dedicated to continuous learning, one can't master it. For starters, the salary depends on your experience and location of the job also matters. It may be anything between 12k to 20k, depending upon your negotiation skills.

Now is the time—go and walk into management institutions, drop your CVs, and make an impact! Good luck.

Hello,

I also have the same question. In some colleges, they told me that a Ph.D. is mandatory to pursue an academic career. I have 1.5 years of experience in HR, so please guide me, isn't it possible right now to get a job without a Ph.D.? I have an MBA, and currently, I am unable to pursue a Ph.D., but I am planning to do so after a year.

Sneha,

Of course, you can. Just polish a bit of your academics and use your HR skills. The academic arena awaits you, but you need to land in the right institution where young talent is encouraged. It's better to start with BBA colleges and then grow up.

Good luck. Please mail your CV to rsvkrishnavsbm@hotmail.com.

Best wishes,
R S V Krishna
