Nice to see an initiative on such a thread. The first time I went through the posting, I was not even aware of what RoHS is. After further searching on Google, I came to know that it is the "Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive." Thanks for educating me.

RoHS Compliance and Restricted Materials

If your company is producing any electronic equipment and using any of the following materials, you should stop using them:

1. Cadmium
2. Hexavalent Chromium
3. Lead
4. Mercury
5. Polybrominated Biphenyls
6. Polybrominated Biphenylethers

If you decide to follow RoHS compliance, the above materials are to be eliminated from your products and processes. If you are a customer of household electronic products and want to ensure that the product you purchased is RoHS-free, please go through the attachment shared by Dipil.
