It is the duty of HR to handle all the compliances and statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, PCB, etc.

Responsibilities in ESI

As for ESI, HR is responsible for remitting payments and submitting returns on a monthly basis. HR should also take care of issuing temporary and permanent ESI cards, filing half-yearly returns, and other necessary filings.

Responsibilities in PF

Regarding PF, HR needs to file monthly and annual returns, Form 2, and other required statutory documentation.
