How Should I Handle an Employee's Non-Response to a Transfer Order Before Termination?

rupavathi
Dear Seniors, I have recently issued a transfer order to an employee and asked him to join after one week. However, he did not join after one week, and we waited for an additional week for his response. Unfortunately, he did not respond. Consequently, our management instructed me to issue a termination letter for not accepting the transfer.

Please send me the termination format that we need to issue in this case.

Thank you.

This is in reference to our letter ref no. xyz…. dated …. through which you have been transferred to … HQ from …. and advised to join the same by …. We regret to tell you that instead of joining the … HQ, you have turned a deaf ear to the instruction by not responding to the above-mentioned letter, either telephonically or in writing. This could be treated as willful negligence, disobedience, and sheer indiscipline towards your duties. You remain traceless even after the elapsing of a quite significant period since your transfer.

In view of the above, it is assumed that you are not interested in continuing your services with our company. Therefore, you deem your services as “TERMINATED” with immediate effect.

Thanks & Regards
