Considering a Diploma in Labour Law and Welfare: Is It Worth the Investment for My HR Career?

Siddahma
I am Siddharth. I have 10 months of job experience in an HR generalist profile. I am planning to pursue a Diploma in Labour Law and Labour Welfare from ILS Pune. Please help me and advise if going for this diploma course would be fruitful, as I am a bit confused.

With the host of labor laws in force, your actions in discharging your responsibilities in HR need to comply with laws. I advise you to go for it.

Diploma Programmes in Labour Laws and Welfare

The Mumbai University is offering diploma programmes in labour laws and labour welfare through some colleges in Mumbai. Similarly, inquire whether Pune University is also offering similar programmes.

Other Institutions Offering Diplomas

Apart from this, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan offers a diploma in Personnel Management in Industrial Relations, and the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies at Parel, Mumbai, also offers a diploma programme. As I understand, their programmes are respected in the industry. However, you may verify at your end.

Further, inquire with TISS at Mumbai or Wellingkar's School of Management at Mumbai since they are also offering diploma programmes in HR-related areas.

Hi Siddharth, I am from Chakan, Pune, working as an HR executive and also interested in the same course. Could you please provide me with details of the course? Thank you.
Siddahma
If you are interested in enrolling in the same course at ILS, Pune, I recommend acting quickly as the classes are scheduled to begin on the 23rd of July. You should reach out to the college as soon as possible; there may still be openings for admissions. Since you are from Maharashtra, your fees will amount to Rs. 10,040 for the one-year course.

For further information, you can contact the college at [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons]. Additionally, you can visit their website at http://www.ilslaw.edu/. Navigate to "Admissions" (top left) and then select "Admission for diploma courses" from the right-hand side, which is the 3rd option.

Thank you.

Check with Annamalai University, which offers a DLL diploma in Labor Law with Administrative Law. I've heard it is highly reputable. I am currently pursuing the same program. You can find more information on their website. Additionally, you have the option to enroll in the program through distance education as well.

Hello Sir, Siddhesh here from Mumbai. I am pursuing the MHRDM course, which is a 3-year part-time MBA from Mumbai University. I have completed my 1st year and am planning to do a 1-year diploma in labor law from Ambedkar College. Is it feasible to pursue two degrees from the same university? I am waiting for your guidance.
