How Should We Handle Out Passes for Casual Laborers Without Using the Company Name?

I recently joined my company (an MNC) where I am working as a Production Manager. I have seen the out pass for employees in different formats, i.e., Out Pass on Duty, Out Pass, Out Pass for Staff. Does this indicate any difference from the usual passes?

Managing Out Passes for Casual Laborers

As per one of my senior's advice, we should not provide out passes with the company's name to the contract labor. How do we manage the out passes for casual laborers without the company's name?

In some companies, I have seen people carrying an ID card-sized pass on which it's clearly mentioned "contact labor." This ID card has a specific number code on top of it to differentiate these resources between different production units.
