Night Shift Dilemma: Can I Get Transport Facilities Along with My Allowance?

I am an operational staff member performing operational shift duties around the clock and residing 15 km away from the workplace. I am already receiving a transportation allowance, but I also want transportation facilities to attend the night shift. Is it admissible?

How do you attend the office in the daytime? If a Transportation Allowance (TA) is paid to you, surely the company won't give you both. I suggest you let go of the TA and seek a transport facility for both your day and night shifts. Alternatively, seek petrol expenses and drive down on your own in your vehicle. 15 km can be covered in 30 minutes. You can also claim maintenance expenses as per your company policy. All the best.
