Salary Increase and ESI: Do You Still Qualify and Benefit After a Raise?

bussib
If a present ESI member's salary exceeds Rs. 15,000/- due to an increment, please clarify whether:

1) Will he continue to be a member of ESI?
2) Does he have to contribute to ESI?
3) Will he still benefit from ESI?

Please let me know if you need further clarification.

If you revise the salary in the middle of the contribution period, you have to deduct and pay up to the end of the contribution period. He will be eligible for benefits for the next six months.

Will he not benefit from ESIC after the benefit period of the next six months if the salary exceeds Rs. 15,000 within the current contribution period? i.e., will his ESI membership and benefits be stopped? Please confirm.
