Seeking Career Growth in HR: Which Technical Courses or Certifications Should I Consider?

Hi, I have completed PGDHRM from the University of Pune. I have 6 months of experience in HR coordination in an IT MNC and 5 months in administration, again in an IT MNC in Pune. Currently, I am working as a Location Coordinator with an MNC that specializes in Biotechnology. However, I am interested in finding a job in HR assistance or coordination. Can you please suggest any technical courses or certifications?

How would you define the profile of the job "HR Assistance or HR Coordination"? This will enable us to provide appropriate guidance.

I have completed my MBA in HRM and have 16 months of experience in US Staffing as a technical recruiter. I am looking to transition to the core HR side. Can anyone suggest how I can secure a job in the core HR field and what skills I need to acquire?

When I upload my profile to job portals, I receive calls only for US Staffing and domestic recruiting roles. I am interested in roles related to HR Administration or payroll. Please provide me with some guidance.

Then you look for certifications in talent management, payroll, and statutory compliances, etc. I am not aware of whether the universities (Pune or Bombay) are conducting such courses. You can try reputed training institutes in Pune or Mumbai.

Labor Management Courses

As far as labor management is concerned, Bombay University, I understand, is conducting some diploma courses in some law colleges, and there is the Maharashtra Institute of Labour Studies in Mumbai, also offering training in labor management issues. You can try IGNOU.
