Frustrated with Missing ESI & PF Challans at SBI? Seeking Advice on Resolving This Issue

Issue with ESI & PF Contribution Challans at SBI Bank

Every month, we pay ESI & PF contributions by cheque to SBI Bank. However, we only receive the challans from the SBI Bank three days after the date of presentation. When we visit the bank to collect our challans, we find thousands of challans spread out in a box, making it challenging to locate ours. Unfortunately, due to the disorganization of storing the challans in a box akin to waste paper, our challans are frequently overlooked, and the staff seem unresponsive to the issue.

We are frustrated with this situation, especially since there is no option to make ESI and PF contributions through online fund transfer. We seek assistance in resolving this problem and request guidance on how to prompt the SBI Bank management to take appropriate action in reissuing our challans. Your urgent attention and prompt assistance are greatly appreciated.

If you have your company's current account in SBI, you can make the PF and ESIC payments online.

Nowadays, there is no need to collect the acknowledgment of payment. Everything you need will be available in E-Seva. There, you have the option to download the paid challan in the ECR menu, where you will find all payment acknowledgments.

Another option, as Ms. Sowmya suggested, is if you have an SBI account, you can pay online.

Please check with the SBI branch that is authorized to receive PF & ESI payments in your locality because they do have the online payment facility. Maybe you need to activate your online banking.
