Balancing Staff and Salary Ratios in a 5-Star Hotel: What Are Your Recommendations?

Can anyone suggest me with the room to staff ratio for a 5-star hotel? Please also suggest what should be the salary ratio for the net income.

The staff to room ratio ideally will be between 1.5 to 1.8, but it will also depend on whether it is an old property or a new one. The employee cost should not exceed 10% to 12% of the turnover, but that again will depend on whether the hotel is in A-class cities (metropolises) or B/C-class cities.
