Is GM Designation Higher To Head - Sales Designation?

is GM- sales designation higher to Head - sales designation? I have a person joining in sales, my every state sales lead is given a designation of zonal sales manager, now there will be 1 person who will take reports from all states but does not want to give him Head - sales designation too soon. please suggest.

hi Nidhika,
GM is always higher than Head. As per your condition above you can give any of below designations:
1. Manager - Country Sales
2. Senior Manager - Country Sales
3. Deputy General Manager - Sales
