All you have to do is give good hygenic food in hygenic enviornment, standardised as per the taste of people eating over there and in proper quantity. (Value for money). Don't overdo also, because the more you give the more they ask. You will have to look after your budget. How much the management is ready to spend on the welfare of the people? Have proper portion control. Maintain proper personal and general hygine. Make them aware about the health issues in long term and discourage unhealthy food. i.e. too much of fried items etc. Keep workers happy as far as food is concerned. The management and the workers will be happy.
Don't think that by doing this there will be no problems, there are always idiots everywhere but if it is a genuine problem, please solve it as soon as possible. Don't try to get popular by giving them everything they ask if you feel its not healthy or withing your means. Control wastage. I am talking from my experience of 20 years in Industrial companies.
