Confused About PF Withdrawal: Will I Get Both Employer Contributions After Resignation?

monali_hr
Can anybody please tell me if an employee has resigned from a job after completing 2 years and wants to withdraw their PF contribution, will they receive the Employee contribution of 12%, Employer contribution of 3.67%, and interest as per government rules? I am confused about receiving the employer contribution. Will we get both employer contributions (8.33% + 3.67%) or only one account contribution between them?

Thanks & Regards,
Monali

Whatever amount is in the account with interest can be withdrawn (i.e., both employee and employer contributions).

Employees will receive the Provident Fund Amount (12% Employee Contribution + Difference Amount or 3.67% + Interest) along with the Pension Amount (as per Table B under the Employees' Pension Scheme 1995) upon the withdrawal of the Fund Amount under The Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

Are you sure you will get the pension amount upon withdrawal? I thought you would not receive the pension contribution but would get the pension at the notional date of retirement.
