Is Using LPG in Factories or Plants Allowed? Seeking Guidance from Experienced Professionals

Dear Seniors, I am confused about the use of LPG in an industry/factory or any process plant. Please let me know if the use of LPG is permissible in the premises mentioned above. If not, please send me the details. I will be grateful to all of you.

Dear Manish, the LPG is not allowed in Nasik for industrial applications like gas cutting. The local District Supply Officer has banned the use of even commercial cylinders for industrial applications. In the industry, acetylene is to be used. However, most industries do not follow this as acetylene (DA) is costly, and its consumption is higher compared to LPG. I know almost all corporate companies do not use LPG for industrial applications. I feel the same rules should be applicable in Mumbai.
