Maximum contribution allowed towards VPF is 100% of your basic + dearness allowance (DA).
Also, it is better to denoted it by a percentage of the Basic+DA (like the statutory 12% of Basic+DA) so that there will be a proportional deduction in case of raise in the DA.
VPF will attract the same interest rates as for the EPF. However, the Employer will only match the statutory 12% of the Basic+DA.
