Understanding Onsite Allowance Procedures and Parameters in IT Companies

I need to know about onsite allowance which can be provided in an IT company for the employees who will be onsite across India or abroad. Is there any procedure for onsite allowance? What parameters should we take into consideration? Please guide me.

Hi Asmi,

It depends on the company how much and under what heads it wants to give the onsite allowance. Normally, apart from salary, daily expense allowance, medical allowance for self and spouse is given to onsite employees.
