Is Networks Field(CCNA Certification) Suitable For Females

ashmita saha
Hello everyone,
I am Ashmita. I've just finished with my BE Computer Finals and waiting for the results. But I want to specialize in a particular field but I can't really decide if I must go for a career in Hardware/networking and do CCNA certification or I should go for .net course in Developing field. I'm not very good with programming and coding.
Please suggest me if hardware and networking is suitable for females and freshers.

Actually its not about the institute. I want to know which field is better Hardware/Networking or Developer specially for a fresher and females. Because I've been hearing a few things like networking has field job so females aren't the best choice for this kind of jobs..
If anyone is working already in networking field or has any idea about this then please do share it. It would be of great help to me.
Thanks.

Hello Ashmita,
I don't think it's about male/female when you make a career choice. There are quite a few females in field jobs & doing pretty well too.
It's ALL about what suits YOUR NATURE & TEMPERMENT & of course, qualification/specialization.
If you think field jobs aren't for you, you can think of System/Database Admin roles--since you mentioned you aren't very good in coding.
However, pl note that Admin roles, in general, may sometimes need you to stay long hours @ the job--given the very nature of the problems associated with such activities. Also, sometimes, such jobs may need 24x7 availability, even though you may be off-duty.
All the Best.
Rgds,
