I remember that once you were involved in EHS newsletter preparation. Now I am in the same situation of creating one. I would appreciate your guidance in putting it together. Please share your ideas, and if possible, any relevant pictures would be very helpful. Additionally, I kindly request everyone to contribute their views on its design. Kindly share any pictures you may have.

Dear SSM,

I am not sure you're in construction/industry. If you are in construction, I'll help you to draw a perfect EHS Newsletter. It must contain at least the minimum points stated below:

• Project ESH priorities (Activity: crane operation risk: high; you need to address all your construction activities and required training).
  
• Current issues with corrective action (with references and pictures).
  
• Must have available pictures/photos of violations (you need to address how you corrected them, what the root cause of the violation was, etc., in 10 lines).
  
• Details of upcoming training (It should state who needs to attend, why they need to attend, and the benefits they will get at the end of the training).
  
• Address new contractors with a welcome note (no need to be brief).
  
• Welcome your new employees with pictures.
  
• Appreciate employees who report unsafe acts/conditions with pictures.
  
• Issue appreciation certificates to those who have completed one year or six months on the project without any safety violations, with pictures.
  
• Update on the latest Acts/Laws revised by the Government, etc.

You have already received great inputs from Raghu and Mr. Bipin Gautam.

In addition to their contributions, I would like to share a few thoughts. Our corporate safety is publishing a quarterly E-magazine on safety. The name only differs here, as the contents are all the same as the Bulletin or Newsletter.

There are two ways you can publish these newsletters. Either it should contain almost all the activities the company is doing in the field of EHS, or you can choose a specific topic for a particular month. For example, Work at Height. Let the newsletter cover all aspects of this particular job, include a few best practices photographs, and highlight some violations without the need for photos, as it may demotivate people. Keep it simple, short, and easily digestible. Provide little information at a time so that everyone can go through it, understand it, and follow it on-site.

Apart from this, what we are planning to do specifically for the unit is to release a unit magazine covering all aspects from mining to product dispatch. In this, all departments are covering their activities in one or two pages, and safety also gets a place in this magazine. You can also consider this approach.
