Hi everyone..
I am pursuing MBA in marketing & HR & i am in 4th sem right now. I've 2 months' vaccation & i want to utilise this time in doing something that adds to my proffesional profile. One of my faculty told me about SAP,he told that SAP certification will give u competitive edge & you will easily get a job due to it.
So i want to know about the following things -
1. What is SAP?
2. In which cities this course is available?
3. Does it really helps in getting a good job?
4. Only HR module is enough or i should go for the full SAP program?
5. IS it good for MBAs?
6. What will be the probable fees for the full SAP program & HR module of SAP program?

Please help me with the above questions, i want to know about it so that i can increase my job opportunities...

SAP - Stands for Systems applications and products in data processing .
2. In which cities this course is available?
All the major cities are available . you can learn through Offline / online Course .
3. Does it really helps in getting a good job?
Yes . it will help you to get the job in india and abroad .
4. Only HR module is enough or i should go for the full SAP program?
SAP HR Module is enough in this we have so many sub modules are there
OM ,PA, Time , Payroll , Recruitment , Erecruitment , TEM, Travel , Appraisal .
5. IS it good for MBAs?
SAP is good for MBA if they relevant specialization in MBA .
6. What will be the probable fees for the full SAP program & HR module of SAP program?
20 - 25 thousand if you go for certification 3- 4 lakhs

Hi Priya,

You learn business skills, concepts, methodologies in your MBA program but noting practical would U learn as u have never visited industries as trainee / apprentise. Am i correct !!

You learn them when u start working for any company.

sap/oracle or any erp package if u learn u will learn practicals that is used for day to day implementation/support activities of company's dialy business.

u can look ur sap training in 2 ways

1) if u learn it now before getting any job, it helps u in just short listing ur cv but no one wud give u sap jobs to work upon as u r just a fresher. but on the other hand u may not understand sap hr clearly because of no working experience.

2)while u start working , start taking weekend/ online sessions on sap after 6 months of ur job. this is because u wud have seen some practical dialy work culture, this shud help u to understand sap much easily than before.

Added to it , start looking for job on SAP after ur 1 year of successful career anywhere anyindustry anycity.
