Want Start Placement Agency

I have 7 years experience with recruitment agency. Now i want start my own placement consultacy and I want work from home. Is it require any license to start business for domestic recruitment.

If you are planning to start the consultancy as a Sole Proprietorship then getting it a service tax registration will do. Usually consultants advice us to have a shop and est trade license but I feel as you will be working from home then service tax registration will be fine enough.

I am not sure about this but isn't service tax registration ( and collection ) required only if your last year billing has crossed Rs. 10 lacs ?
And I think in delhi a shops license is required if you want to open a bank account in your company's name....
