Starting a Home-Based Placement Agency: Do I Need a License for Domestic Recruitment?

I have 7 years of experience with a recruitment agency. Now, I want to start my own placement consultancy and work from home. Do I need a license to start a business for domestic recruitment?

Nice to know about your new venture. All the best. If you are planning to start the consultancy as a Sole Proprietorship, then getting a service tax registration will suffice. Usually, consultants advise us to have a shop and establish a trade license, but as you will be working from home, service tax registration should be adequate.
