Registration for a Factory
As per Section 6 of the Factory Act, you must register your factory if it falls under the definition outlined in Section 2(m).
Process:
1. You need to create a site plan and submit it along with Form-1.
2. Along with Form-2, you must deposit the requisite fees (usually based on horsepower and manpower), a director's list, Form-32 as per the Company's Act, a machinery list with horsepower consumption, pollution control consent to establish, a trade license, a fire license, or a consent letter from the fire department, etc. (any other documents if requested by the authority).
PF and ESI
For PF and ESI, you need to fill out some forms provided by them, along with the director's list, Form-32, and the company's bank details. Include an employee list with wage details from when it becomes covered, i.e., 20 persons and 10 persons, respectively.
The PF and ESI authority will ask for one month's contribution if it is immediately covered or the last contribution, and your company must deposit the draft against their demand notice. Once deposited, PF and ESI will issue the code number.
This is also my request that this is a forum for knowledge sharing, not for doing business.
