Study Leave In Central PSU

Sir,
I have applied for study leave for PGDM at IIM. Course is commencing of 02.07.12.which is not yet granted. But due to my poor health I want to withdraw before 01.07.12. and dont want to avail study leave.
Whats the procedure for it. And what if I apply before 02.07.12 but after the leave is granted. Please help

you can wriiteto your PSU thanking them for sanctioning the study leave but informing them that you are compelled to postpone your study programme due to poor health and therefore you are withdrawing the pallication and requesting them to cancel their sanction.
