Hi, I'm Pooja. I am currently pursuing my MBA in HR. I have completed my summer project in a pharmaceutical company. My topic was "Training: An Effective Tool for Brand Building." I had to survey doctors and chemists regarding the medical representatives and suggest some changes in their training methods.

I have to do an individual research project related to a problem in a company's HRM. I would like to focus on motivation, and my specific issue is: what are the motivational problems that a company can face? Can someone please help? I am undertaking my Master's degree in HRM. I have to complete a report by Thursday under the following topic: "Write a report to your CEO advising whether or not the HR function should be closed and devolved to Line Managers, taking into account the strategic performance of the organization." I would be ever so grateful if anyone has done this type of thing and any pointers they can give me. Thanks, SJH

I wonder why so many of you keep asking for reports; some need it urgently too. I am sure that you all would have been told about the course regulations well in advance. Instead of searching the web for how to structure a report (assuming your institution has not stipulated), people seek reports on the same topic that they are working on. If the report is required to learn how to structure or approach, any report should do. I have attached a report at CiteHr in a thread titled MBA Projects. I also have attached a PowerPoint file on Research Methodology. Please access those two and then pose precise questions.
