The Factories Act primarily focuses on safety. There are many conditions outlined in the Factories Act. As an industry, we must identify which legal requirements are applicable to us. Once identified, these requirements need to be evaluated to ensure they are met by the company. In OHSAS terminology, this is referred to as the evaluation of compliance with legal requirements. Attached is an evaluation register format for the Maharashtra Factories rules.
