I am working in a company. My company doesn't have any PF investment policy. I want to open my PF account to invest apart from the company's involvement. Is it possible? Please guide me regarding this.
You can open a PF account by yourself, and the contribution to be made is solely from you, comprising both 12% of the employee's share and 12% of the employer's share, along with an admin charge of 1.61%.
You can also open a PPF account with banks as per your convenience and receive the tax benefit for the same. However, you will be able to withdraw only after 15 years.
