I am working in Qatar for the last 4 months aftering being there in india for around 10 years in hardcore HR functions. I request you to give feedback on SAP HR module esepcially on "How to Add a New employee" in SAP. In my company, we are following the steps below:-
Step- 1 - Create Position in PO13>organisational management>OM>Maintain position
Step- 2- Hiring employees in PA40(Personnel Action)
My doubt
I hope implementing SAP needs a lot of thinking and creativity

My doubt
- Presently, if 100 persons are joining as Architect, we will create 100 positions in SAP. Each unique position (100 created) will be assigned to a unique person (of 100 architechts)
- We assign position to cost centers too
- It seems that it is a time consuming process - creating 100 positions and assigning new hires under that position one by one
I hope implementing SAP needs a lot of thinking and creativity
