How can we modify data in TIN (Tax Identification Number) records, such as changing the name of a company?

You should apply for amendments for a change of company name. You should submit valid name proof along with a Board Resolution if it is a Pvt. Ltd Company and should submit a copy of the name change from ROC.

Thanks, I know that we file the Board resolution with form 18 for a name change in ROC, but in TIN (NSDL) data, I want to do the same with them.

You mean you want to make changes in the Income Tax Department? Yes, even there you should do the same for both PAN and TIN. First, change the PAN number, then you shall update the TIN as well.
