Please help me. I want to know about the skills matrix. The concept is not yet clear after reading many posts. Could you please clarify what skills matrices are, how we define them, where they are used, and what the procedure is? I would appreciate it if you could clear all these concepts.

Skill Matrix Overview

A Skill Matrix is a chart depicting the skills of employees. In the skill matrix, specific skills required to perform a job are defined. For example, for an HR person, "Communication skills" are essential, while for Marketing professionals, "negotiation skills" are crucial. Seniors update the chart based on employees' performance. It is used to identify areas where training is required.
