What Qualification Does One Need For A Successful Career In HR?

sujiththalekkara
Hello Everyone,
This is my first post with cite HR so please do excuse me if I make any mistake here,
I actually wanted to seek help in shaping my career in HR with the right qualification,
To give u a brief idea, I am 24 yrs old just cleared my SYBcom Distance learning from Mumbai University and if you talk about my experience I have 6 yrs total work experience out of with 2 years is in US recruitment with Accenture and 2 yrs in IT recruitment with another Tier 1 company.
I now understand the value of not having a full time degree but do not wish to be thrown out from the race as well.
I just want to know what will be the best thing that I can do after my graduation (due this year) to keep me in the race.
Should I go with a regular Part Time MBA in HR or should I go with a Diploma is labor Laws or an MA in Psychology also I have heard of HR certifications like PHR, SPHR and GPHR.
It would be a great help if anyone can help me with this,
Regards,
Sujith Thalekkara.

Dear Sujith,
This is My advice, don't leave your job for study. just try to Study by Distance. One of My Friend did his UG & PG by distance only now He is settled in great IT Company in HR Dept. Dont bother about to continue your Educaiton by distance because you are having experience in HR Domain. India's Premier Insititution for HR National Institute of Personnel Management offering PG Diploma in Personnel Management, just pursue the course by distance.

Hi Sujith,
Try to complete your education by distance or eles look for some university which are looking forward to take some experience candidates and helping them to get through their education.
Please do not stop working for studies. Being into HR you can still manage your schedule.
All the best!
