I am a B.Tech fresher and I have signed a bond of 2.5 years with a company, which includes 6 months of training and a job confirmation after those 6 months. The bond is worth 3 lakh and was signed on a Rs 10 non-judicial paper.
It states that the trainee has taken a loan from the company for the training, and if the trainee leaves or is terminated by the company, they are liable to recover the amount.
Apart from that, a stipend of Rs 5000 is being paid to trainees, out of which Rs 600 is being deducted as PF, though we do not have any account. It is paid in cash. The training is of lesser value, just spending time in front of the system. After 1 month of my joining, some trainees joined my team with a different offer letter and a different bond clause. When I raised this issue with HR, I was humiliated and spoken to in a misbehaving manner. Following this, my HOD told me that if I had issues working there, I could be relieved of the bond. However, when I submitted my resignation, I was threatened regarding the bond, though I received a relieving letter subject to the clauses of the bond. Soon after, I also received a letter stating that I have some overdue amount on my account.
Please help me. I left because I was frustrated, not because I got a better opportunity. I didn't even complete my training period.
Help me regarding what I can do in this situation.
