Slab Of Professional Tax For Employees - DOC Download

Hi, If anyone helf me to know that what is the slab of profession tax for employees and who is liable to pay? employer or employee? As practically we seen that employer paid professional tax for their employees after deducting from their salary, is it right way to pay professional tax or anything wrong? pl help me to know about it?

Pls. find details as you required.
Rs.3000 to Rs.6000 = Rs.20/-
6001-9000 = 80
9001-12000 = 150
12001 onwards = 200
Employer is responsible to deduct this amount from employee's salary. And, employer is liable to submit the professional tax.
