I am working in a Govt. of India undertaking PVT.LTD company for the last 5 years. This company is under the control of health and family welfare ministry. This company has two types of employees.One is permanent and other one is contract. Contract period is one year after that the period will be renewed at regular intervels. There will be no break in this period. Salary will be consolidated and increment will be given each one year. increment will be given on the basis of certain rules. I did not understand which rule is adopted here. I am engaged in HR department as Assistant and my basic pay is Rs. 6000/- now it has enhanced upto Rs. 7600/- and 12% PF. Some doubts arising from my side is stated below.
1, Contract employment in central govt. is governed by which rule?
2, Is a contract employee eligible for permenant employment and other benifits.
3, What does his salary structure comprise of?
