We are a startup and have outsourced our management activities to a professional. She has performed well, and we are delighted by the results. Now we plan to handle management activities with our in-house trainees. She has asked us for help, and we are ready for the same. She wants to join a full-time job and thus needs a salary slip of around 25k CTC. Her actual income is less and doesn't fall in the taxable slab, so there's nothing unethical.
Industry Norms and Salary Considerations
The reason behind doing this is our industry's foolish norm of not offering a candidate a salary of his/her worth. Every time, the candidate's existing salary is taken into consideration. Is it possible to design a legal salary structure that is subject to the least or nil income tax as the lady intends to go for a Form 16 as well.
Thank you.
