Struggling to Withdraw PF from a Closed Company? Here's How to Navigate the Process

I have a PF number. My company's head office was in Mumbai, but the company has been closed since 2005. I worked there for one year. Now, I want to withdraw my PF from that company. However, I don't know where to send my PF form or what formalities I need to complete. I don't have any address or contact numbers to inquire. Please give me suggestions on what to do and how I can withdraw my PF.

Do you know the PF number? If the company is closed, then it will be a bit difficult to withdraw. If you are working for another company, try to transfer to a new account. If not, I can guide you on how to get it.

In that case, please fill out your PF forms and meet the PRO for the same. You should also meet the Assistant PF Commissioner. He will help you in this regard. There are other formalities as well. It's better to call me so that I can brief you about the same. 

Could you please inform me about all the forms required to withdraw the PF? I have forms 1995 and 1952. Are there any other forms that need to be filled out? Also, how can I arrange a meeting with the PRO and Assistant PF Commissioner, and where should I meet them in Delhi?

Attestation of PF Application

In form 1995, it is stated that if, for any reason, the claimant is unable to have the application attested by their ex-employer, they may submit the claim to the PF office after having it attested by one of the following authorized officials:

• Manager of the bank where the member has an account.
• Head of an educational institution.
• A gazetted officer.
• The magistrate.
• Employees Provident Fund or Regional Committee and others.

Now, please advise me on what steps to take next, where I should send my PF form, and who should attest my PF form.
