Minimum Wage Confusion: Does Employer Location or Worksite Decide Pay?

I wanted to know the minimum wages to be paid according to the state, whether it is based on the place of the employer (Delhi) or the location of work (U.P.). Please also provide me with the guidelines explaining the same.

Minimum Wages Based on Location

Minimum wages should be paid according to the location or the specific work site where the workers are actually deployed. The minimum wage in Delhi differs from that in Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, the workers should be governed by the Uttar Pradesh Minimum Wages Act.

Regards

It shall be paid as per the state in which the workers are employed in an establishment covered under the Act.
