I have read some of the posts about how to pursue a career in corporate training. I have spoken to Rashmi in Shraddha too, but unfortunately, they are headquartered in New Delhi. Please help if any of you know anyone who conducts these kinds of programs in Mumbai... Please, guys, help me!!!

Thank you very much for replying. I have 2 and a half years of experience in BPOs and 2 years of experience in marketing. However, I want to transition into becoming a corporate trainer. I would like to know how to proceed further. I have read some posts on this community, which were informative but of limited help. I feel there are no institutes in India that offer courses in corporate training. However, some seminars/workshops are definitely conducted. I can't inform you about any right now. If I come across any, I will keep you posted.

I agree that no institute can make you a corporate trainer. However, there are people who are experienced enough to guide the person who wishes to embark on this journey. We all can show the way; the choice is hers to take it or leave it.

I have spoken to Dale Carnegie, and they have a workshop for "Train the Trainer" lined up in January 2008. I also spoke to Mrs. Shakti. However, I think they do not have any basic workshops for beginners. Could you please let me know if you know any freelance trainer or any other trainer who trains individuals?

I have the world's best Train The Trainer program. It is a 3-day program. But in this era, why cling to Mumbai only? Come on dear, be a sport. Come to Delhi, and you will find there is a treat in store for you. It takes hard work and determination. To be able to utter even one word in front of an audience, you need to prepare thoroughly. Training is one thing; audience handling is something else.

U can speak to a company called NEXT LINK PVT LTD - based in malad. They are majorly into corporate training, and also have train the trainer programme. Which means they will train you and give u a job as a corporate trainer as well. u can contact malad office for the same.
In fact they were looking for a manager for corporate training sometime back (see one of my previous posts). u can try them.

As per the information provided by you, you have around 4 and a half years of experience overall, out of which 2 years were in BPO and 2 and a half years in marketing. You may be a fresher in freelance training. Utilize the experience in your field and explore.

CTF shall be useful to you. I have attended the training program, and it was very practical. It shall be very useful to identify strengths and weaknesses and to improve upon them. It was a very good workshop.

For your information, I have no idea about freelance training in Mumbai.
