How to Deal with a Rude Boss Holding a Fake Degree When Management Ignores the Issue?

Actions Against Fake Degree Certificate Holders

What actions can be taken against a fake degree certificate holder and someone who encourages the use of fake certificates, especially when our superior is involved in creating a fake degree certificate for an SSC candidate who has been appointed as my superior? He is behaving very rudely towards us, and we are feeling uncomfortable working under him. We are hesitant to approach management as they seem uninterested in addressing such issues. What steps can I take? Can I pursue legal action?

I have been working in this company for the past 12 years as a graduate, and my superior, who holds a fake SSC degree, joined just two months ago. Should I consider legal action, or do you have any other suggestions? Job security is not my primary concern.

What do you mean by "Job is not a matter for me"? Are you prepared to quit the job or be sacked if you try to take any action? If so, why do you not quit without taking action?

If the company is not bothered, why are you? If the person is behaving rudely, complain about his behavior. Do you have any concrete proof that his degree is fake?

How large is your organization and is it owner-controlled?

Legal Actions Against Fake Degree Holders

What action can be taken against a fake degree certificate holder and someone who encourages fake certificates? One of our superiors created a fake degree certificate for an SSC candidate and appointed them as my superior. He is behaving very rudely towards us, and some of us are feeling uncomfortable working under him. We can't approach management because they are not interested in addressing these issues. What should I do? Can I take any legal action? I have been working in this company for the past 12 years, and my superior, who has an SSC with a fake degree, joined just two months ago.

I am concerned because he appointed me as a superior, and some people in management are aware of this situation. Some employees have quit due to religious sentiments, as I am from Telangana, and they are from Andhra.

Can I take legal action, or please advise as job security is not the primary concern for me.

Proving the Fake Certificate

First of all, you must be sure and able to prove his fake convocation certificate. If you fail to prove that, it is meaningless to talk about Mr. Simhan's statement. Once you prove it, then you need to look into his job profile requirements to determine if the job he is holding requires a degree holder or not.

Addressing Workplace Issues

If the issue you are facing is related to ethnocentrism, prejudice, localism, sectionalism, provincialism, or unfairness, you can complain to the higher authority or the management head. As a last resort, you can file a legal petition and spend years of your life in the courts of law, which can be difficult to win. Alternatively, you may choose to quit the job, as Mr. Simhan aptly advised, and free yourself from the unwanted and underdeveloped environment.

Sir, your opinion is correct, but I'm also facing the same problem. You have to understand our feelings. If this person only works with your support, gets a higher salary than you, and in a short time gets promoted, taking all the work credit from you, then what can we do?

I didn't mean to continue the job. But before you quit, you might find another job as you may have certain responsibilities. Still, try the above-mentioned suggestion. Hopefully, you may find relief.

Taking a Stand Against Injustice

I will quit the job, but I am not quitting the fight for justice. This week, I will go to the office and participate in a dharna with our community. I have filed a case against my superior, who is a fake degree holder. I questioned the basis on which I was appointed and raised this issue with the superior and management.

Instead of that, gather genuine information and the source of fake documents or degree certificates. Later, prove your inability to work and try to demonstrate with major strength or supporters that injustice is being done to you based on regions. If you really think you can gather supporters and acquire the necessary details, there is no need to speak further. You need to go for a peaceful protest or choose any non-violent means to address the issue silently. But whatever you decide to do, think and act wisely. Good luck.
