PF withdrawal process shall be done by your employer. If you want to try it yourself, you should fill out the following forms:

1. Form 10C
2. Form 19
3. Electronic Transfer Form

These forms should be authorized by your employer. Along with those forms, you should enclose a cancelled cheque leaf as proof of your account number.

While filling FORM-19, we have a column named Employee's contribution, under which we have to mention EPF and EPS of employees. What should be mentioned in it?

PF Withdrawal Process and Documentation

Last payslip and relieving letters are not required for the PF office. However, the employer provides a declaration for the date of relieving in both Form 10C and 19, which serves as proof of relieving. Instead of withdrawing, it's better to get it transferred to the existing account.

In some states, like Himachal Pradesh, the regional PF commissioner insists on sending a canceled cheque of your account mentioned in the claim form or a photocopy of the passbook of the account. Otherwise, he rejects the claim by putting forth the above query.

Hi Sutanu, just submit Form 13 to the PF office in Kolkata. They will take care of those proceedings. 

Pending EPF Scheme Certificate and Form 13 Query

Please clear the matter. I worked with my previous employer for around 9.5 years. In 2007, I resigned from the company and withdrew my PF. My EPF part balance is pending, and the employer informed me that I would receive the scheme certificate. Despite several follow-ups, I have not yet received the scheme certificate. Recently, when I contacted my previous employer, they mentioned that I should have received Form 13 to transfer the EPF parts from my previous employer to my current employer.

Could you please confirm if this is possible?

Thanks,

Ramesh

Dear Jeeva, How can we transfer to the existing PF account when we join a new organization? What documents will be required?
jeevarathnam
Hi Mayur, your new employer will take care of transferring the PF from the old account to the new account. The new employer will send a covering letter with Form 13 to the old employer, and they will submit it to the PF department with relevant documents like Form 5 & 10 and Form 3A.

I worked for four years in one company, and after that, I resigned. After three years, I rejoined the same company. At that time, I asked about my previous PF status. The company advised me to transfer my PF to a new account. I filled out the transfer form and received submission details. Now, I have resigned again, and I want to withdraw my PF. However, when I checked the online PF funds, I only saw last year's PF balance. I filled the transfer form in the F.Y. 2010-2011, and now F.Y. 2011-2012 is complete, but my PF still hasn't been transferred. What should I do?
sandhya_kumari@sify.com
Hi Ashvin, you need to visit the RPFC and follow up on your transfer case with the Dealing Assistant of that company. He will provide you with the exact status. Have you enclosed documents like Form 5, 10, and 3A along with Form 13?

Sandhya
