Resignation Rules For Employees On Bench In Private Companies

princess121
Respected Sir/Mam,
Please help me out with the foll. problem---
I am working in a BPO frm 1 Year. But now I want to resign it for better career opportunities, but I dont have enough time to serve notice period.
Actually I am still on a bench from past 5 months. They were asking me to resign earlier bcoz our performance was not good as per the client's rules.
But then we requested them & everything was resolved, as they said that we would be redeployed to some another process.
Now the thing is tht I m on bench. I just go, mark my attendance & come back. Still they r asking me to serve 1 month notice period fr no reason.
I want to resign frm my present company as soon as possible, bcoz I hv got a good job. Is there a way, I can escape out of my notice period, bcoz anyways it makes no sense serving a notice period when m on a bench. Its a loss fr me & company also.
So, please help me...........
Thanks in advance!!!

When you were on bench have you got the regular salary
If yes then how you can ask for exemption from company rules?

Sir, Thanks for Ur reply.
My gross salary is Rs.13500/- per month. When I was on bench, I used to get somewhere in between 10000/- to 11000/- after all deductions.
But when I was working (means when I ws not on bench), I used to get somewhere in between 11000/- to 12000/- after all deductions.
I just want them to relieve me asap, bcoz I am wasting my time & company is wasting its money, in the guise of notice period.
One more question, will I be able to adjust my leaves against notice period or not???

Hi!
I also have an issue similar to yours, just different in the ground that I
was not receiving the salary while I was on bench.
Am I also required to serve the notice period or pay
the equivalent amount to the employer?
Thanks in advance!!
