I lost my PAN card No AFLPB0414M. What can I do to get a new card? The original card was issued while I was serving in the INDIAN ARMY, THE MADRAS REGIMENT at Ooty, Ward 1 (2), OOTY. I received a letter from the Income Tax authority for the issuance of a PAN card, but I couldn't obtain the same. Therefore, I am reaching out to you for guidance on the necessary steps to obtain a new PAN card.

You should request a re-issue of the PAN card with the same number. All you need is an address and ID proof. If you have a copy of the existing card, that would be even better.

You can approach any of your nearest UTI centers, and they will be able to guide and help you. As Mr. Jeeva has mentioned, you will have the same PAN.
