I have two queries--
1. Whether the Principal Employer is statutorily liable for certification of Standing Orders of the Company while the manufacturing process is run entirely by the contract labours.? If so, the relevant statutory ptovision or any case law may please cited.
2. Whether the Principal employer is statutorily liable for registering his manufacturing unit with LICI( Insurance Company) for Group Gratuity u/s 4A of The Payment of Gratuity Act,1972 & Rules framed thereunder for the labour force who are the contract labours and governed under The Contract Labour ( R&A) Act,1970 & Rules framed there under? Is it statutorily obligatory on the part of the Principal employer?
