Changed Jobs and Missing PF Interest – How Should I Proceed?

I have a query regarding PF. I have changed my job and filled my PF withdrawal form in my previous company. After a few months, I have received the deposited amount but have not received the interest on it. Kindly let me know how I should proceed further.

Understanding PF Withdrawal and Employer Contributions

Any employee working for less than 6 months in any one organization is not entitled to receive the employer's share and is liable only for their share of deductions made from their salary drawn from that particular organization. This could be a possible reason in your case if you have worked in the organization for less than 6 months, hence a lesser amount deposited in your account. If not, you should seek help from your previous company's HR department or contact the EPFO.
