Please find attached bulletins which I receive from Webstac regularly. As an EHS professional, it helps me to stay updated in many areas and think about probable control measures that could be adopted. This helps in upgrading my knowledge. With their permission, I am uploading these bulletins here. I have also requested them to become a member of citehr. Hope you find them interesting.

Thanks & Regards,

It's good that you are forwarding the HSE Newsletter on this forum. However, I do not find any credible material therein concerning HR issues. It would be nice if you could also write a line or two on how you found the material beneficial to HR professionals. This would be of immense help.

Dear Sir, I would like to bring your kind attention to the fact that Mr. Sudhir has posted material related to EHS under the forum title "Safety Health of Your Employees" and uploaded it correctly. It's not always necessary for HR professionals to take an interest in these uploads.

I came to know about the incident that occurred in DuPont through the bulletin you posted. I have forwarded the same to one of the DuPont consultants seeking a comment regarding the incident and received the following statement:

DuPont's Public Statement on the Incident

DuPont has issued the following public statement for this incident: "Safety is a core value at DuPont. It is based on our commitment to the idea that all accidents are preventable. So, it's our objective to ensure that an incident like the one that took the life of Richard Folaron never happens again. We conducted an exhaustive investigation of the Nov. 9, 2010 incident and cooperated fully with the Chemical Safety Board throughout its investigation. Many of the agency's recommendations are closely aligned with the results of our own investigation and have been implemented."

On the CSB web page, a video related to this incident is available for those who are interested. Please visit: Deprecated Browser Error

Important Updates for Thermal Power Plants

The bulletin dated 25.04.12 is attached for the benefit of all members. This includes important news for Thermal Power Plants regarding the MoEF Notification. Additionally, I recently learned about the Responsible Care Certification for the first time. Finally, there is news about the Gujarat Government's Tidal Wave Energy Plant.

I definitely find these bulletins very valuable.

Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir
